Breuckmann at the Fakuma 2011

On the occasion of the 21st FAKUMA International Trade Fair for Plastics Processing it is with great pleasure to invite you to visit us at our exhibition stand FO 19 in the East Foyer where we will be presenting our high-performance range of Breuckmann 3D scanning systems used in the versatile application spectrum of reverse engineering.

Optical metrology developed and implemented by Breuckmann provides the ideal solution in the field of reverse engineering, for instance in product design or for the production of prototypes. Visit our exhibition booth to witness an exemplifying and interesting illustration of the technologically easily feasible alternative to the often time and cost intensive search for original spare parts of a Packard classic car, produced in the US in the nineteen thirties and forties. The three-dimensional data sets of the original part required for this rapid prototyping process are generated with the aid of a Breuckmann digitisation system smartSCAN 3D.

Thanks to its low weight, the smartSCAN 3D system is not only used in the context of stationary applications, but is also ideally suited for assignments on-location; if a project so requires, the system can be easily and swiftly transported to the respective measuring object on-site. Its flexible and modular design allows any given measuring volume to be swiftly adjusted to best suit the particular requirements of the measuring task and object size. Its robust and sturdy structure furthermore makes it the ideal tool for applications in the tough industrial production environment.

The 21st FAKUMA trade fair takes place from October 18th to 22nd in Friedrichshafen (Germany) at Lake Constance.
